This is Me

Welcome to my Life...All Things Fabulous and well....All Things Not So Fabulous. This is my blog. Hi! I can literally hear all ya'll saying "why in the world is Jen starting a blog??" Really, I can. Here's the answer: I've been wrestling with the idea of a blog for a while now, debating on whether it's a little self indulgent or not. The verdict? It is. But it's also harmless. And if it makes me happy to write it, then why not?
I have a lot of family, friends and loved ones who live well, basically on the other side of the country. And let's face it, there are not enough hours in the day to talk to each one everyday, as much as I'd like to. So this is my solution in letting loved ones keep up with me. Everyone can read this when they want and when they have time. This is also my solution to say things I want to say when I have no one to say them to. (Did you get that?) I have the best audience in the world, my little yorkie Toby who I affectionally call Bugaboo. But at some point, even he hides under the bed and is just DONE listening to me ramble about whatever I'm rambling about.
I have been told I'm complicated, frustrating, random, silly, funny, sensitive, crazy, and unique to name a few. And I am all those things, both good and bad. I'd like to point out that no one, and I mean NO ONE gets more frustrated with me than well...me. So don't try to tell me how frustrating I can be. I KNOW! I'm hoping that for ya'll reading this, it helps you understand me a little better and lets you into my heart and life a little bit more. So welcome to my wonderful world which I am both thankful and eternally grateful for. It's nice to see ya'll here!!
PS- For the grammar sticklers in my life...I am telling you now, my sentences and thoughts will not be gramatically correct! Do NOT leave me comments telling me it's wrong to end a sentence with a proposition or tell me that the tense in my blog is not consistent. I am telling you now I do NOT care!! And I say that with all the love in my heart. :o)

  2. Good call, Kate.
Jen, so long as you are adopting a stream of consciousness style, I can forgive poor punctuation and syntax. However, it is never acceptable to confuse its and it's, your and you're, whose and who's, and there and their and they're. Never. xoxo.

  4. Hahahaha upon the second reading of this post, I noticed a Katie-ism. Lauren, I'm shocked you didn't catch this..

Jen- I don't think you can end sentences with propositions.. at least, that's not what you meant. I believe the correct term is "preposition." Hahaha I love when I can catch other people's mistakes...
