Grace

20 years ago today, Heaven got an angel. My Dad's mother passed away unexpectedly on September 30th, 1990 and I still remember it like it was yesterday.
No matter how old I get or how many years go by, I wake up every year on this day thinking of my Grandma. Her death was my first experience losing a loved one and I still tear up thinking of this day 20 years ago.
Grandma, 20 years may have passed, but there isn't a day that I don't think of you. Thank you for being my angel. I love you!
